Kimberly Griffin is the Publisher and Chief Revenue Officer for the Mississippi Free Press, which she co-founded in March 2020. Kimberly led her team’s participation in the Meta Membership Accelerator, where they created and implemented the MFP VIP Club membership program. Kimberly was a 2021 Institute for Nonprofit News (INN) Emerging Fellow and is a Local Independent Online Publisher’s (LION) Revenue Growth Fellow. She previously served as the associate publisher at the Jackson Free Press, which served Mississippi’s capital city for almost 20 years. Kimberly has a BS in Journalism/Public Relations from Mississippi University for Women and an MS in Public Relations from the University of Southern Mississippi.
