Kimberly Spencer currently oversees fundraising at Capital B. She has spent her career working with mission-based organizations to raise strategic support and increase brand awareness. She has held a variety of leadership and fundraising roles. Growing up in rural Maine she has seen first-hand the critical importance of local news coverage for small communities. Kimberly holds a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Leadership for Nonprofit Organizations from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She currently is a coach for the LION Revenue Generation Fellowship and works with outlets who want to build out a major giving program.
