I'm currently dedicated to creating the future of news by building independent, hyperlocal news products in California's Coachella Valley. In my "day job" I work as a news director and social media manager at Microsoft's MSN.com, where I’ve been for the past 20 years. I first entered the digital media industry in 1997 when I was hired as part of the team that eventually launched ESPN.com. Prior to that I survived a career as a reporter and editor at newspapers up and down the West Coast.
