Sonam Vashi is a cofounder of Canopy Atlanta, a community-powered nonprofit newsroom that equips metro Atlantans to tell stories and access information. She is an award-winning journalist who has written about metro Atlanta for the New York Times, Atlanta magazine, ProPublica, and more, and she was a 2022 John S. Knight Community Impact Fellow.
